Since starting running I have lost a total of about 18 lbs and have improved my running pace from an average of 8:30 minutes per mile to about an average training pace of 7:30 minutes per mile. My total weekly mileage has increased from about 16 miles when I first started running to an average of 40-50 miles. I am so fast now that the camera lens has a hard time capturing my image (see above). I have not raced since March, but in May I plan to run the Wall Street 5k on May 20th and a possible 10k on Saturday, May 17th. Stay Tuned.
