Today's Run- July 11

Finally got out and ran in the park. The temperature and humidity levels were perfect for the morning run. There was a lot of activity in the park, more than typical at 5:30 AM. Usually it is us runners, bikers and the occasional person walking their dog. Today the activity centered in the preparations for tomorrow's Bon Jovi concert on the Great Lawn. The Park Drive will be closed tomorrow between 72nd and 86 Streets so maybe I should run on one of the river paths.

I live in the Midwest and we have had a stretch of weather today and last few days that is headed your way that is much too hot/humid. Enjoy your runs now!

And how exciting about the Bon Jovi concert - I am still a huge fan after all these years - I am jealous of all the fans that will get to see them.

Amy, Thanks for the heads-up. I'm glad I was able to put in a good 14 mile long run before the hot/humid weather.
